Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced PL/SQL Developer to join our team for a state client project in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and managing PL/SQL code, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL programs, stored procedures, triggers, and packages.
Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with business analysts and application developers to gather and understand requirements.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve database-related issues.
Implement and maintain database security, backup, and recovery processes.
Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Document processes, data flows, and technical specifications.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Experience working with large-scale enterprise databases.
Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
Ability to write and debug complex PL/SQL code.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Oracle Apex development.
Exposure to ETL tools and data integration processes.
Familiarity with UNIX/Linux scripting.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
Experience with state government or transportation-related projects.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
Certifications in Oracle Database development or administration.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
