Job Title: LTE/5G Modem Protocol Engineer Location: Bedminster, New Jersey- HYBRID(NEED LOCAL CANDIDATE) Must-Have Skills:              LTE/5G Modem Protocol Engineer experience.              Strong programming experience.              Development, maintenance, and validation of 5G/LTE features for Android devices.              Commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality product creation. Job Duties:              Develop and validate 5G and LTE new features and KPIs based on NR 5G and LTE protocol (ML1, LL1, RRC, RLC, MAC, PDCP, and IP).              Work on different protocol features for Android and iOS applications and validate them.              Fix identified issues and validate the fixes.              Support customers for troubleshooting and demos.              Work closely with various teams, including SMEs, development teams, and server teams, for new feature integration, validation, troubleshooting, and fix validation.              Document user manuals for applications, new features, and new devices. Desired Skills:              Experience in Android or desktop application development or validation.              Knowledge of NR 5G NSA, NR 5G SA, LTE, VoLTE, and TCP/IP.              Experience with RIL (LTE, CDMA, Evo, WCDMA, GSM/EDGE, TCP/IP).              Familiarity with wireless networks, architecture, and protocols.              Wireless modem logging, analysis, capturing, and modem/application processor architectures.              Experience with protocol analyzers and test tools such as XCAL, QXDM, Wireshark, QCAT, MA, and STT.              Development or validation of system performance, KPI measurement, and parameter analysis.              Strong Java programming knowledge with good problem-solving skills.              Understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns.              Efficient multithreading knowledge and ability to optimize memory leaks.              Strong knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android. Education/Certifications:              Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science OR an equivalent degree is required.
