Work with various inventory management / design systems, like PRO, RSI, TIRKS, and EON. Plan and install expansion shelves. Upgrade existing transport equipment to meet current demands and propose additional equipment for future growth. Participate in network consolidation efforts and provide practical solutions that optimize path/route selection to reduce network costs. Perform in-depth data cleansing and validation, identifying and resolving discrepancies between inventory records and actual network configurations. Plan and implement network-wide migrations from legacy to newer platform equipment. Plan and optimize wave design across multi-vendor DWDM systems. Review the Diversity, Latency and Custom Routing factors for network and customer circuits. Analyze day-to-day production issues, create case studies for continuous improvement, and address them promptly. Prepare Method of Procedures, activity plans, process documents and automations. Handle project tasks and problems, analyze data, evaluate potential solutions, and implement the most optimal resolution. Collaborate with peer groups such as Field, OSP, and Infrastructure Planning teams.
