Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (BSA)
Location: Lake Forest- Illinois-HYBRID (Need local candidate)
DURATION:12+ Months
Vendor : Beacon hill staffings
Role Overview:
Two Business Systems Analyst (BSA) roles are open, each with a slightly different focus:
1.   Role 1:
o   Support a team that is transitioning one of their members to a new project.
o   Focus on understanding business requirements, Agile methodologies, and functioning as a Scrum Master/PO.
2.   Role 2:
o   Support a Project Manager (PM) with project deliverables and work closely with the business.
o   Involves assisting with Azure DevOps (ADO) over time.
Both roles require experience with change requests, strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, and an ability to work effectively in Agile and Waterfall environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Discovery and Requirements Gathering:
   Facilitate discovery sessions to understand business needs and product goals.
   Elicit and document business requirements, including workflows, user stories, and feature definitions.
   Map processes and define workflows, focusing on data sharing across systems and end-user experiences.
Change Management:
   Manage change requests, including identifying scope changes, impacts, and adjustments.
   Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the scope and ensure seamless implementation.
   Communicate effectively to minimize disruptions and maintain project focus.
Project Collaboration and Delivery:
   Partner with the PM to deliver projects from inception to completion.
   Ensure features and stories are groomed and prepared for development.
   Collaborate with QA teams to define testing requirements (e.g., regression, load testing) and acceptable outcomes.
   Track project progress, metrics, and outcomes to ensure alignment with goals.
Process Improvement and Documentation:
   Document current and future state processes to reduce inefficiencies.
   Develop and track metrics to measure the success of process improvements.
   Train and coach team members on process improvement techniques.
   Act as a change agent to foster a process-centric culture.

Key Accountabilities:
   Execute business process design and continuous improvement activities.
   Identify and implement process changes that improve quality, cost, and delivery.
   Develop and sustain implementation plans for process improvements.
   Support organizational goals by tracking benefits realization through metrics.
   Collaborate with leadership to align with the divisions business process strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
   Proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO) or willingness to develop ADO expertise.
   Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
   Familiarity with tools for documentation and process mapping.
Business Analysis & Change Management:
   Experience with change request processes, including:
o   Identifying scope changes.
o   Asking critical questions to assess impacts.
o   Collaborating with stakeholders to implement changes effectively.
Soft Skills:
   Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage cross-functional teams.
   Solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to address challenges constructively.
   Team player who collaborates effectively and supports organizational goals.
Experience:
   Experience working with multiple teams across an organization.
   Proven ability to work closely with QA teams to define acceptable testing criteria.
   Strong understanding of product discovery and roadmap development.

Preferred Qualifications:
   Prior experience in Scrum Master or Product Owner roles.
   Familiarity with regression testing and low-code testing approaches.
   Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and promote a culture of process maturity.

Candidates should be prepared to discuss:
   Their experience managing change requests, including key questions they ask during the process.
   How they gather and document business requirements in Agile environments.
   Specific examples of delivering projects and collaborating with QA teams.
