Position : GCP Network Architect Experience: 12+ years Location: Remote/Client-Site (As per client needs) Job Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced GCP Network Architect with over 12 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing robust networking solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Terraform, GCP firewalls, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), DNS, and load balancing. This role is critical in helping our client enhance their network infrastructure to meet performance, scalability, and security goals. Key Responsibilities : GCP Network Design & Architecture : Design and implement scalable and secure network architectures on GCP. Lead the design and setup of Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) with effective subnetting and routing strategies. Network Security : Configure and manage GCP Firewalls to enforce robust security policies. Develop and implement best practices for securing GCP network resources. DNS Management : Set up and manage DNS zones, records, and policies in GCP. Optimize DNS configurations for low-latency access and reliability. Load Balancing : Implement and manage GCP Load Balancing solutions for applications to ensure high availability and performance. Infrastructure Automation : Leverage Terraform to automate the provisioning and configuration of GCP resources. Maintain and optimize infrastructure as code (IaC) practices. Collaboration & Documentation : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, application, and security teams, to align network design with business needs. Document network designs, configurations, and processes for operational efficiency and compliance. Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting : Monitor network performance and optimize configurations for efficiency and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network-related issues on GCP. Required Skills & Qualifications : Experience : 12+ years in networking, with at least 5+ years working on GCP-specific network solutions. Technical Expertise : Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation. Expertise in GCP services, including VPC, GCP Firewalls, Cloud DNS, and Load Balancing. In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and BGP. Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale network solutions in cloud environments. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and GCP-native monitoring solutions. Certifications: Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Network Engineer (Preferred). Preferred Skills : Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud networking setups. Knowledge of other infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef).
