The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering with a focus on Azure, SQL, and Databricks, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data solutions in a cloud environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines and solutions using Azure Data Services. Manage and optimize data storage solutions in Azure (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics). Build and maintain ETL processes using Databricks and other Azure tools. Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide efficient solutions. Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards and best practices. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure seamless operation and minimal downtime. Document technical designs, processes, and procedures for reference and knowledge sharing. Required Skills and Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field. Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics. Proficiency in Databricks for building and managing big data pipelines. Advanced SQL skills with experience in performance tuning and query optimization. Familiarity with Python or Scala for data manipulation and transformation in Databricks. Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g., Azure DevOps, Terraform). Familiarity with other cloud platforms and tools is a plus.
