Job Title: Hogan Consultant Location: FULLY REMOTE PB- Kelly ________________________________________ Overview: We are seeking a Hogan Consultant with extensive mainframe experience to join the US Bank team, working on the Edward Jones Alliance for Hogan CIS. The role focuses on development, testing, and application design, with an emphasis on Hogan systems such as CIS, DDA, TDA, PAS, ODS, and others. This is a fully remote opportunity with two rounds of interviews conducted over the phone, including a technical evaluation. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: 1. Application Development & Design: o Design, develop, and install complex application software. o Hands-on coding in COBOL, VSAM, JCL, and related mainframe technologies. 2. Testing & Deployment: o Perform unit testing, end-to-end cross-application testing, and ensure quality assurance. o Move code across environments and oversee conversion monitoring and verification. 3. Collaboration & Support: o Collaborate with business analysts and support teams to enhance front-end support methodologies. o Contribute to the design and delivery of technical architecture solutions. 4. Problem-Solving & Debugging: o Identify and resolve Hogan-related abends (application errors) in both online and batch processes. o Troubleshoot and resolve issues in CICS/VSAM and IMS/DB2 environments. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Experience: Mainframe Expertise: 10+ years of experience in Hogan mainframe systems, including: o Hogan Deposits (DDA & TDA) o Hogan RPM o Hogan CIS o Hogan PAS o Hogan Umbrella o Hogan ODS Strong coding experience in: o COBOL II, CICS/VSAM, IMS/DB2, Easytrieve, JCL, Expeditor, Changeman, or Endeavor. Extensive knowledge of Hogans process dictionary components and PCDs. Experience in software design, development life cycle, and implementation methodologies. Strong problem-solving and communication skills (verbal and written). ________________________________________ Preferred Skills: Experience with IDZ and GitHub. Familiarity with Hogan-related concepts: o Hogan Umbrella, PEM, CDMF, Logical Environments, Librarian. Background in API and mobile banking integration, memo posts, and streaming Hogan experience. Exposure to the retail banking domain and e-commerce applications. ________________________________________ Interview Process: Rounds: 2 o Round 1: General discussion about the candidate. o Round 2: Technical evaluation.
