Learn more at www.tredence.com Job Desription: We are seeking a GCP DevOps Expert to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, automation, and CI/CD pipeline management, combined with deep knowledge of GCP services. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient delivery of software applications and services in a cloud-native environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Collaborate with software engineering teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, automating the deployment and monitoring of applications. Implement and manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery. Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or Ansible for provisioning and managing cloud resources. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot, and optimize application environments, identifying and resolving bottlenecks. Implement cloud security best practices, including access control, data encryption, and network security. Participate in on-call rotations and provide ongoing support for cloud-based applications. Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies related to cloud infrastructure. Continuously evaluate new GCP features and recommend improvements to our existing infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery processes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services (e.g., GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Pub/Sub, etc.). Strong experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, etc.) and CI/CD pipeline management. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Deep understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (preferably with Google Kubernetes Engine - GKE). Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent. Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go). Knowledge of cloud security principles and practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and encryption. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: GCP professional certification (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer). Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., Cloud Functions, Cloud Run). Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions like Datadog, New Relic, etc. Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure). Experience with machine learning or data engineering solutions in GCP.
