Job Title: PeopleSoft HCM Programmer Analyst (Technical) Location: San Bernardino, CALIFORNIA -ONSITE(NEED LOCAL CANDIDATE) Job Description: The County of San Bernardino is the largest U.S. county by area. The Innovation & Technology Department (ITD) collaborates with various departments, including the Assessor's Office, Registrar of Voters, Human Services, Behavioral Health, County Clerk, Sheriff's Department, and Courts, to implement and maintain software programs that better serve county residents and businesses. Role Overview: This is a 100% technical, hands-on role with no functional work involved. The Programmer Analyst will join the ITDs Human Capital Management (EMACS) team, partnering with Human Resources to implement onboarding integrations between the countys recruiting system (NeoGov) and PeopleSoft HCM. Key Responsibilities: Application Development & Maintenance: Design, implement, and test HCM applications with new features and functionality. Maintain and enhance modules related to Payroll, Time and Labor, Benefits, ePerformance, and Talent Acquisition. Database Design & Management: Work with Oracle databases, write advanced SQL queries, and develop ETL processes. Manage reports and data processes efficiently. Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve production issues. Monitor systems for optimal operation and compliance with requirements. Collaboration & Communication: Work independently and as part of a team. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications: Core Technical Skills: Proficiency with PeopleSoft development tools: Application Designer, SQR, Application Engine, AWE, Query, etc. Advanced PeopleCode experience. Experience with COBOL, Application Packages, Component Interface, Fluid Development, HTML5, and CSS. Oracle SQL expertise, including advanced queries and database design. Familiarity with SDLC phases. Preferred Technical Skills: Experience integrating 3rd-party recruiting systems into PeopleSoft. Knowledge of Event Mapping and Drop Zones to reduce customizations. Familiarity with PUM Images and bug fixes. Understanding of version control tools and HCM frameworks. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills. Additional Information: Interview Process: One panel interview (second interview may be required if needed). Interviews will cover SQR, application interface, modules worked on, and troubleshooting scenarios.
