Job Title: Infrastructure System Engineer II Location: 2799 W 7th St, Port Arthur,TEXAS 77640-ONSITE(NEED LOCAL CANDIDATE ONLY) Customer: Chevron Duration: 4 months (with potential for extension) Interview Process: 1 virtual round Position Summary: The Infrastructure System Engineer II will focus on Operational Technology (OT) and Process Control Network (PCN) systems. This role is vital for maintaining PCN systems, ensuring cybersecurity compliance, and managing network and workstation/server/storage infrastructure. Collaboration with PCN Administrators, Process Control, I&E teams, and vendors is a key component to improve system reliability and security. Key Responsibilities: Deploy and Maintain PCN/OT Infrastructure: Implement and maintain secure PCN/OT network solutions. Configure, deploy, and maintain network, server, and storage technologies. System Administration: Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards. Manage asset inventory, risk compliance, and software/licenses. Operational Support: Provide technical support for PCN, PLC, and SCADA environments. Troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure in PCN/DMZ networks. Project Support: Assist with new projects and lifecycle operations for existing systems. Required Qualifications: Networking Expertise: Experience with LAN/WAN infrastructure in PCN/DMZ environments. Understanding of the Purdue Model. Server Management: Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server (2012R2/2016/2019) in physical/virtual setups. Experience with VMware ESX Server, Virtual Center, and hyper-converged platforms like Cisco Hyperflex. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Active Directory, IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS, and GPO management. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Desired Qualifications: Educational Background: Associates degree or higher in technology or a related field. Certifications: Microsoft Windows Server, Azure, CCNA, or PCNSA. Additional Expertise: Knowledge of RF infrastructure (e.g., MW, WiFi, cellular, DAS, LoRaWAN). Experience with Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS) and scripting tools (Power, Ansible, Python). Familiarity with cloud services (Azure) and Agile methodologies. Selection Criteria: Growth Capability: Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly. Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server, VMware, networking (Purdue Model), and scripting. Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
