Job Title: Data Architect Location: McLean, VA-ONSITE (NEED LOCAL CANDIDATE) Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with a strong background in data analysis, application performance monitoring, and system migration. This role will support credit risk review processes, ensuring high-quality data validation and processing. Key Responsibilities: Perform data analysis to support credit risk review and internal customers. Conduct application performance monitoring and dashboard oversight. Manage data processing, validation, and quality assurance tasks. Support and contribute to system migration projects. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless data integration and processing. Facilitate project management tasks, including scheduling meetings, creating agendas, note-taking, and status reporting. Communicate project updates and insights effectively to senior leadership, including Sr. Directors. Required Skills and Experience: Core Technical Skills: Python for data analysis and scripting. Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Snowflake. Familiarity with AWS (S3) for cloud storage and data integration. Hands-on experience with Databricks for data engineering and analytics. Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation. Data Analysis Expertise: Proven ability to analyze data, ensure quality, and validate processing workflows. Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot data-related issues. Project Management Skills: Experience setting up meetings, preparing agendas, and following up on action items. Capable of managing and reporting project statuses effectively. Communication Skills: Ability to interact with senior leadership and convey complex information clearly. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in credit risk review or financial services is a plus. Familiarity with system migrations in a data-driven environment. Team Structure: Join a Credit Review Team consisting of 10 Data Analysts supporting 40+ internal customers. Work collaboratively to provide assurance around credit risk data. Interview Process: Single 1-hour interview with the manager and a team member.
