The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building scalable data systems, handling large volumes of behavioral and transactional data, and driving insights for advertising and conversion optimization. Qualifications Technical Expertise Proficient in modern data engineering tools such as Databricks, Spark, Python, SQL, and ETL/ELT frameworks. Experience with CDPs and marketing platforms like Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. Solid understanding of API integrations and data pipelines. Marketing and Analytics Knowledge Experience working with marketing and conversion data (e.g., ROAS, CAC, CLV). Familiarity with attribution models and tools such as Google Analytics or Looker Studio. Understanding of ad platform requirements for conversion tracking. Stakeholder management Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to align with cross-functional teams. Educational Background Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field. Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, or Azure are a plus. Key Responsibilities Data Architecture and Aggregation Design and implement data aggregation layers (Silver and Gold) for user behavior and marketing data. Create pipelines to process, cleanse, and transform raw tracking data (e.g., events such as Custom Events, Commerce Events, and User Attributes). Develop strategies for data enrichment to ensure completeness and accuracy of conversion data. Conversion Data Management Build and maintain pipelines to aggregate conversion data and push it to platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other marketing platforms. Manage attribution models and ensure conversion events are tracked accurately and aligned with business objectives. Ensure compliance with platform requirements for data formatting and API integrations. Data Governance and Quality Assurance Establish processes to monitor data quality, enforce data governance policies, and ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and reliability of data sent to external platforms. Work with cross-functional teams to identify and address data gaps or inconsistencies. Analytics and Insights Collaborate with Marketing and Analytics teams to define KPIs for campaign performance and conversion tracking. Build dashboards and reports to visualize aggregated data and provide actionable insights. Deliver insights on user behavior and optimize conversion paths using aggregated data. Partner with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to define data requirements and implement solutions. Platform Integration and API Management Design and oversee integration with external platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) through APIs or bulk upload systems. Manage API key rotation, encryption mechanisms, and secure data transfer pipelines. Ensure high performance and fault tolerance in API interactions.
