Job Description -

Position: Application Support Specialist 2 openings
Work Location: Remote (local candidates only)
Need only local to North Dakota!
Need LinkedIn profile with submittal!

Human resources department- duration will be 20/hr Week.
Department of corrections - duration will be 40/hr Week
There are 2 openings with Different department 1 with Human resources & other with Department of corrections. 
Duration of the Contract: Minimum 6 months with strong likelihood of extending if candidate is successful in the role
Job Summary:
An experienced IT Professional is needed to provide application support for an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and related applications. This role involves extensive experience in application maintenance, end-user support, and vendor collaboration to ensure seamless functionality and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Support & Maintenance:
Provide end-user support for applications including myAvatar, myAvatar NX, Order Connect, Bells AI, myHealth Pointe, Harvest Labs, CareWare, and other interfaced systems.
Maintain application dictionaries, registry, security settings, and perform configuration changes.
Monitor and address support tickets via a Service Management tool.
Troubleshoot, document, and resolve IT-related issues, escalating complex cases to vendors as needed.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Conduct system testing for upgrades, enhancements, and patches.
Collaborate with developers and end-users to resolve issues during testing phases.
Perform after-hours testing once a month on a fixed schedule.
Training & Documentation:
Develop user documentation and conduct training sessions to educate staff on application enhancements.
Communicate progress and changes to stakeholders and supervisors.
On-Call Support:
Participate in after-hours on-call rotations for nights and weekends on a fixed schedule.

Required Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 10 years in IT, with a focus on customer support.
At least 3 years of experience with myAvatar.
5 years of Hands-on experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) software.
Proven expertise in testing and troubleshooting software.
Experience using Service Management tools.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and refining software to meet user requirements.
Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
Strong collaboration skills with IT teams, vendors, and agency personnel.
Other Requirements:
Availability for after-hours testing and on-call rotations.
Post-secondary education in technology is highly desirable.
