The project manager is responsible for managing the project scope, schedule, budget, other project management artifacts and reporting to VSP HR management. The project manager will assist the VSP HR Division staff in responding to external agency partners and vendors, coordinating tasks assigned to VSP, and ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and meet key deadlines. PMP Certification is desired. Experience with human resource management systems is a plus. Process optimization, awareness of best practices, and change management experience is highly preferred. Must possess strong oral/written communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. Should have the ability to manage shifting priorities. KSAs and/or Competencies required to successfully perform the work: Ten or more years experience with: 1. IT Project management experience. 2. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projectsincluding those which span 2-3 years. 3. Producing comparative analysis of valuepropositions, proposals, and cost benefit analyses. 4. Managing requests for information/proposal frominception to vendor selection. 5. Creating presentations that are clear for anaudience with varied levels of understanding. 6. Proficient usage of Microsoft Word and Excel. Education, Experience,Licensure, Certification: Ability to successfully interact in a team environment andeffectively communicate both orally and in writing across all levels of anorganization. Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite/Oracle Cloud solutions isdesirable. Experience working in HumanResources is a plus. Considerable experience in software project management, andgraduation from an accredited college or university with major study inComputer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Combination ofeducation, experience, and training, demonstrating the required knowledge,skills, and abilities is acceptable. PMP and or VITA PM certification highlydesirable. DailyResponsibilities: Develop and maintain project documentation required by Procurementand VITA. Track and report on the progress and outcomes of majoractive projects. Develop and maintain projects schedules and budgets. Build and maintain effective relationships with project teamand vendors through timely, accurate and effective communication.
