Position: DB Platform Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 6 months Visa: USC ,GC only MOI: phone then Skype Client: Cap Gemini Minimum Requirements: **Candidate will need to take an online Tech Screen prior to submittal, must be done today, will take about 20 min to complete 1.Build, deploy and manage data pipeline in Azure /GCP using IAC (Terraform) 2. Engage in planning, modeling, design, implementation, support, and performance optimization to deliver Database as a Service 3. Data Pipeline integration with security scanning, security posture management and reporting tools 4. Automate DB Lifecycle operations including patching, hardening, refresh, etc. 5. Analyzes existing data pipelines and optimizes performance 6. Build DB related self-services within the area of data discovery, lineage and governance that will be consumed by platform users 7. SRE enabled operations for database by instrumenting resiliency parameters and monitoring metrics around stability, reliability and security 8. Drive proactive incident resolution and root cause investigation within postmortems establishing a culture of collaboration between teams 9. Coordinate upgrades and updates with minimizing impacts on service uptime 10.
