This is a pivotal role in modernizing electric utility distribution systems. This position involves working with 2D and 3D design tools to develop innovative solutions for distribution infrastructure projects while collaborating with a team of experts and clients in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Design & Engineering: Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs for distribution systems using CAD or similar software. Create engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications for overhead and underground electrical distribution systems. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international electric utility standards. Project Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support distribution modernization efforts. Coordinate with clients to gather requirements, present solutions, and address project-specific needs. Engage with field teams to implement designs effectively and resolve challenges. Fieldwork: Conduct occasional site visits (10% travel) to assess distribution infrastructure and oversee design implementation. Collaborate with HQ teams in the USA as needed (travel fully expensed). Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation for clients and internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of design changes and project milestones.
