Position: Compute and End User Lead (Citrix Engineer) Locations: Grand Rapids, MI Duration: Contract Job Description: Technical Leadership: Provide advanced support and guidance for Citrix environments and compute infrastructure, ensuring system integrity and reliability. System Implementation: Lead the implementation of new systems, upgrades, and modifications to Citrix and compute environments. Problem Resolution: Analyze and resolve complex issues to minimize service interruptions and ensure optimal performance. Performance Monitoring: Conduct routine system analysis and proactive monitoring to maintain high performance and availability. Analyze problem trends and issues to then propose and drive improvements Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless operations and integration of new technologies. Team Management: Manage a large team located remotely across various location. Identify training plans and improvement areas Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years in Citrix technologies (e.g., Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, NetScaler, Citrix Cloud) and extensive experience in compute infrastructure (e.g., servers, storage, VMware). Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Azure Cloud Services, VMware, and endpoint management tools. In depth understand Active Directory, DNS and DHCP Certifications: Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server and CITRIX certified professional Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
