MS degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field. Expert in the domain of Big Data and related technologies, such as Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Oozie, Pig, Hive, Spark, etc. Expert in Python and scripting. Experience with Java is a plus. Good experience in AWS and its technology offerings, such as EMR, S3, MWAA, etc. Experience in GCP is a plus. Good communication skills and teamwork spirit. Role and responsibilities Work closely with the Search team to help migrate dozens of data pipelines from on-prem to AWS. This involves rewriting portions of the code and configurations and testing the pipeline and results. Work closely with the Platform team to find optimal capacity and resource specifications to help optimize cost and efficiency.
