current data environments (SQL Server replica of Prism and Salesforce) to understand needs and expectations Gather and understand the current data reporting processes and needs for the use case, as identified and prioritized by client: client and broker hierarchy for revenue, costs, and profit at all levels Verify data inventory and data quality and identify data availability gaps for the use case Design and document an MVP data lake architecture and an implementation plan Implement the MVP data lake on Azure and a Power BI dashboard for the use case Document the newly created data lake and the Power BI dashboard Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Conduct collaborative workshops with key stakeholders to understand current challenges, business objectives, and technical requirements Understanding the existing data infrastructure, processes, and governance procedures, and assess data accessibility and usability gaps Define measurable objectives to guide the data lake development process Document key issues and observations based on the current processes and practices in meeting business objectives Data Availability Assessment: Perform a comprehensive inventory of client's existing data assets across systems and platforms, pertained to the client and broker hierarchy use case Evaluate data quality, identify redundancies, and recommend cleansing strategies to improve accuracy and relevance Map data sources to data lake architecture design, aligning with use case and reporting needs Assess potential technologies, platforms, and architectures for building the data lake Provide a detailed recommendation that aligned with Azure Well-Architected Framework MVP Data Lake and Power BI Dashboard Build: Build an MVP data lake and a Power BI dashboard for client and broker hierarchy for revenue, costs, and profit at all levels Include a high-level roadmap for future implementations, with considerations for scalability, security, and compliance Training and Documentation: Document the newly created data lake architecture, schema, Power BI dashboard and best practices for future reference Provide knowledge transfer through the project lifecycle to ensure proper transition Provide ongoing support and assistance to users during the initial transition period Document standards, guidelines, processes, and procedures to assist in the governance of the data
