Job Title: Cloud Migration Engineer / DevOps Engineer Location: Hopkins, MN (Preferred), Chicago, IL; Hackensack, NJ; Milwaukee, WI (Onsite 3 days/week)- HYBRID(NEED LOCAL CANDIDATE FROM THESE LOCATION) Job Overview: US Bank is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Migration Engineer/DevOps Engineer to support the migration of applications to the Azure cloud platform. This role requires a mix of cloud engineering, DevOps, and programming expertise, with an emphasis on Azure, C#, and Java. The position involves reconfiguring and coding applications for Azure Cloud, managing infrastructure as code, and ensuring seamless deployment using DevOps methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Migrate applications to Azure Cloud and reconfigure them for .NET Core or Java platforms as needed. Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions using Azure services, including Azure Functions and AKS. Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and other tools. Manage infrastructure configuration with Terraform and Ansible. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability on Azure Cloud. Monitor and log cloud-based applications using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. Required Skills and Qualifications: Cloud Expertise: 3-5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure (no AWS). Programming Languages: Strong skills in C# and Java (minimum 5+ years in both; 60/40 split preferred). DevOps Tools: Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible. CI/CD Pipelines: Hands-on experience with Azure Pipelines, Jenkins Pipelines, or GitHub Actions. Infrastructure Management: Familiarity with Ansible for Windows server configuration. Database Skills: Strong SQL knowledge. Scripting Languages: Experience with Power, Python, Bash. Version Control: Proficient with Git and related tools (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket). Operating Systems: Expertise in both Windows and Linux environments. Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of overall experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or software development. Experience with application monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights. Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
