[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] JD: Job Title: Scrum Master Location: Charlotte, NC or Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid 3 days a week) No. of years of experience: 8+ years Job Description: Scrum Master Exp: 8-12 years We are looking for a skilled Scrum Master / Project Lead who will be responsible for ensuring our Agile teams adhere to Scrum principles while effectively managing delivery and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing projects, leading teams, and understanding the release and DevOps cycles. Key Responsibilities: 1. Scrum Master Responsibilities: Advanced certification- SAFe is a must and insurance is ideal. Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies. Ensure the team follows Agile principles and Scrum practices. Remove impediments and shield the team from external interferences. Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed product backlog. Monitor and improve team dynamics and performance through coaching and mentorship. 2. As a Delivery Lead: - Lead project planning sessions and manage project execution. - Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget. - Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and success criteria. - Track project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet project goals. 3. Technical Team Management: - Manage and mentor technical teams, fostering a collaborative environment. - Coordinate with development, QA, and other technical teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions. - Provide technical guidance and support to team members. 4. Release and DevOps Cycle Management: - Oversee the release management process, ensuring smooth deployments and minimal disruption. - Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve release cycles. - Ensure adherence to best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification. - Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, or in a similar role. - Proven track record of managing technical projects and leading Agile teams. - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and release management. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously. - Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in the Insurance Industry - Advanced certifications such as PMI-ACP, SAFE, or equivalent. - Knowledge of DevOps, GitHub, Rally, non-prod and prod environments - Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices.
