BUT PREFERS LOCAL TO SEATTLE Duration: 6 month contract to hire Major Responsibilities Must be working on Azure - It is an Azure Shop Experience or exposure to design, build, and maintain our cloud environments Assist in cloud networking Help support our Disaster Recovery program Develop and support systems and performance monitoring Assisting the DevOps framework being used by engineering teams Provide DevOps and SRE services to our engineering teams Help develop, build, and release automation (CI/CD Pipelines, Environment Builds, Config Mgmt.) Develop and maintain our containers and infrastructure as code Support engineering teams during development and releases Provide level 1-2 support for IT issues across the environment Automate routine work, manual tasks, and remediation efforts Skills and Experience 1-2+ years of experience with object-oriented scripting (i.e., Power or Python) prefers Power Data dog or other monitoring software is required (anything like Solarwinds) 1-2+ years of designing and building highly available, reliable, scalable, and secure Azure cloud environments 1-2+ years working with CI/CD pipelines, environment builds, code check-ins, and branching via Azure DevOps 1-2+ years designing, building, managing, and deploying containers using Kubernetes/AKS and Docker 1-2+ years managing users, roles, rules, and permissions in various services 1-2+ years of work with the following networking technologies (Physical, Virtual, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, SDN, Wi-Fi, HTTP, APIs.) 1+ years administering Windows and Linux 1-2+ years virtualizing systems (nice to have) 1-2+ Years work with Infrastructure as Code Tooling (Terraform) 1-2+ Serverless Services (i.e., Azure Functions, PowerApps) 1-2+ with SCRUM, AGILE, and Sprint practices Day in the life: Getting security policies in line Moving things from off prem to cloud Working with the developers and supporting things being spun up in Kubernetes/AKS.
