Skill Matrix should be filled out by candidate Availability: 1-2 date & times candidate is available for the technical web screening M-F 5-7 pm Eastern Time Zone (45 minute screen) JOB DESCRIPTION Essential Responsibilities: Requirement Analysis and designing detailed test cases and procedures from requirement specifications. Test new applications and repeatable testing for existing products. Ensure all product releases meet or exceed defined quality goals. Iterative Development and Release Management process experience in an Agile Scrum environment. Work with business analysts, development teams, and internal groups to ensure customer requirements are met. Attends design review and user meetings as required. Documents test cases and defects as needed. Performs execution of test plan, continually analyzing test efforts for completeness. Performs system integration, functional, volume, user interface and performance testing on modifications and enhancements before production releases through manual and automated techniques. Create, maintain, and run automated test scripts. Analyzes failure/success of automated scripts and makes modifications as required. Qualifications: Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) 5-7 years in software quality assurance focused on Web-based application testing. 3+ years of experience with Windows operating systems and applications. 5+ years of experience writing test cases and test plans. 5+ years of experience using QA testing tools like Azure DevOps TFS, Selenium Web Driver with C# and SQL related tools. 3+ years of experience with UI and API Performance Testing and tools such as JMeter or similar tool. 3+ years of experience using JMeter for Performance Testing for API& UI (Using JMeter for majority of tasks - not partially using JMeter). (Will allow JMeter for performance tests and Postman for API functional tests) Experience with Iterative Development in an Agile Scrum environment. Ability to conduct functional testing, regression testing, system-level integration testing, end-to-end testing, and acceptance testing. Have a firm understanding of SQL or PL/SQL and relational database concepts. In-depth understanding of software development processes and methodologies including their documentation and creation. Knowledge and experience with version control and defect tracking systems. Ability to handle multiple projects and task responsibilities simultaneously and switch among them quickly to meet prioritized business needs. Gather, use, and analyze defect metrics data to present analysis findings to the appropriate levels of management verbally and through the preparation of periodic written reports. Will they need to be able to test applications written in .Net/C# Or they need to use .Net/C# for test automation Bold text is good 3+ years of experience with UI and API Performance Testing and tools such as JMeter (Real full-time experience not part time using JMeter). Can you elaborate Do you mean they should have used JMeter ONLY all day every day for testing API JMeter for performance testing for API, UI, etc. majority of their tasks was JMeter. Are you willing to allow other tools for API testing other than JMeter (like: Restful, Postman, etc) OR is JMeter is a MUST HAVE JMeter for performance tests and Postman for API functional tests. What tool are you using for Build automation JMeter, Postman, Selenium and Azure Dev Ops Will they be using both SQL & PL/SQL for data manipulation and queries Will they need XML & DDL PL/SQL SQL queries skills needed. Will they need to do unit testing to validate code components testing the script they created on JMeter Manager Questions Part 2: Can we use non-local candidates It would really open the pool of candidates, there were not a lot of dedicated Performance Testing candidates in the Phx market.
