JOB TITLE: SR DevOps/SRE
LOCATION: McLean, VA 22102 (Local to Richmond, VA preferred)-HYBRID (NEED LOCAL CANDIDATE)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer with expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, to join the EASE SRe team within the ECP Tech Line of Business. The role involves supporting the migration from a legacy platform to a modernized serverless infrastructure. You will work closely with application teams and the platform support team to drive automation, pipeline migration, and serverless solutions.
Responsibilities:
Write scripts to automate processes for the new platform.
Support pipeline migration and ensure smooth transition to serverless infrastructure.
Collaborate with application teams and provide platform support.
Perform daily operational tasks with automation and customer support for over 70 teams.
Work on containerized environments using Terraform, Docker, Fargate, and Lambdas.
Required Skills:
Cloud Expertise: At least 3-4 years of hands-on experience with AWS.
Automation Tools: At least 5-7 years of experience with Terraform and Jenkins.
Containerization: Strong knowledge of Docker and serverless technologies.
Programming Skills: Experience with Java and Python.
DevOps Tools: Familiarity with GitHub, Splunk, New Relic, and other DevOps technologies.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience with Capital One or similar financial organizations.
Strong communication skills to effectively support a large number of teams.
Interview Process:
Round 1: Personality fit and general overview.
Round 2: Technical deep dive with a tech lead.
