JOB TITLE: Senior ETL and Reports Developer LOCATION: Raleigh, North Carolina-HYBRID (NEED LOCAL CANDIDATE) Duration: 12+ Months The Senior ETL and Reports Developer will provide critical support to the NC Families Accessing Services through Technology (NC FAST) program. The role involves developing and maintaining data extracts, ETL batch jobs, and reports using Oracle, PL/SQL, and related technologies. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design solutions, and ensure efficient data reporting processes. This is a hybrid role based in Raleigh, NC, with responsibilities that include 24x7 on-call support/rotation. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Analyze and identify reporting requirements for NC FAST Case Management System reports. Develop, maintain, and optimize complex data extracts, ETL processes, and reports. Design and implement effective SQL queries for large datasets, including CLOBS/XML data. Ensure the quality and integrity of data extracts through validation and audit strategies. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing queries, reports, and ETL processes. Develop operational performance metrics and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Azure Synapse. Document requirements and technical specifications for new and updated reports. Provide 24x7 on-call support as part of a rotation schedule. ________________________________________ Required Skills and Qualifications: ETL Tools & Oracle Expertise: Proficiency with Oracle, Oracle Utilities, and ETL tools. PL/SQL and Relational Database Modeling: Strong scripting and database design skills. Business Intelligence Tools: Experience with tools like Business Objects or BIRT. Development Methodologies: Experience with structured system development and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe). Data Analysis & Reporting: Proven ability to write efficient SQL queries and develop complex reports for large datasets. Technical Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor a team while taking ownership of deliverables. Collaboration Skills: Strong relationship-building and communication skills with stakeholders. ________________________________________ Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience with Data Warehousing concepts and tools. Familiarity with Amazon Redshift and Tableau. Knowledge of Dell Boomi integration platform. Hands-on experience with Power BI and Azure Synapse for dashboard development.
