Position : Application Software Architecture Location : at least 3 days onsite a week ( 40% REMOTE) ( 150 William Street New York, NY 10038) Hours: THIS POSITION WILL ALLOW 35.00 - HOURS PER WEEK (9:00am - 5:00pm) Duration : 12+ Months Mode of interview : Video Visa Restriction: [No H1B/ OPT] Job description : The Administration for Childrens Services (ACS) Office of Information Technology seeks seasoned Application software architecture who will be responsible for Software architecture and technical design of applications. This consultant will be responsible for designing scalable architecture systems and providing the architectural blueprints to the development team. Consultant also will help create high-level products technical specifications and design documents. This Application Software Architecture must have the following skills and experience in JAVA, .Net, CRM application development: 8 years of experience with designing scalable architecture systems and providing the architectural blueprints and the implementation of software solutions. 5 years of experience with writing application software using java and/or .Net, data analysis using Oracle/SQL Server, application design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions; available to assist and/or lead in the design of program specifications. Specific expertise in programming in the UX/UI development, Prototyping, Web environment utilizing Java, in-depth knowledge of web technologies, Angular, Micro Services, APIs, Java Script, Java Server Pages, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, web services, Data integration solutions and tools. Experience using the Visio tool. A minimum of 5 years' experience working with Web-logic 14C and or Apache Tomcat. A minimum of 5 years backend experience with writing complex queries using SQL, Stored Procedures/Functions. Should have adequate knowledge about using DevOps, Repos and CI/CD pipelines. A minimum of 3 years experience working with CRM tools such as MS Dynamics and/or Salesforce will be plus and will have an added advantage. Knowledge of BI Publisher reporting tools is preferred. Experience in creation of system design, architectural diagrams and technical documents. Quick to learn, self-motivated, and enthusiastic, work well within a team environment and with minimal supervision. Able to meet and deliver on deadlines and work well under pressure. High-level project management skill, Ability to solve complex software system issues and Good communication skills.
