Job Title- SPM Project Manager / Business Analyst (PM / BA) Location- PLEASANTON, CA Contract Position- SPM Project Manager / Business Analyst (PM/BA) to lead and support projects related to Sourcing and Procurement Management (SPM). This role combines project management expertise with business analysis skills to deliver effective solutions, streamline processes, and ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, project management methodologies, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Plan, execute, monitor, and close SPM-related projects to achieve defined objectives within scope, time, and budget. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and deliverables. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies. Facilitate project status meetings and stakeholder communication. Ensure adherence to project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid). Business Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for SPM processes and solutions. Create detailed documentation, including functional specifications, use cases, process flows, and requirements traceability matrices. Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements or system enhancements. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment. SPM Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise in sourcing, procurement, and supplier management processes. Analyze and optimize supplier lifecycle management, contract management, and procurement workflows. Work with SPM tools and platforms, ensuring optimal configuration and usage. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure clear communication of project objectives, milestones, and progress. Manage stakeholder expectations and provide timely updates. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records for audit and reference purposes.
