Please find the requirement below , If you find yourself comfortable with the requirement please reply back with your updated resume and I will get back to you or I would really appreciate Role: Guidewire BODS Data Developer Location: 100% Remote (Downtown Des Moines, Iowa ) // Local is GREAT but not necessary // Willingness to travel onsite to meet team would be a big plus as well Visa: USC/GC (for H4-EAD and GC-EAD) End Client - EMC Insurance LinkedIn, SSN, DOB Key Responsibilities: Data Integration and ETL Development Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) to integrate data with Guidewire applications. Implement and manage data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources to Guidewire DataHub, InfoCenter, or other platforms. Collaborate with database administrators to optimize data workflows and maintain system performance. Guidewire Ecosystem Support Work closely with the Guidewire team to understand requirements and implement data solutions that align with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter modules. Manage and troubleshoot data flows between Guidewire core systems and reporting/analytics platforms. Data Quality and Governance Establish data validation rules and perform thorough testing to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality. Implement data cleansing and transformation logic to enhance usability and compliance. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain data governance standards. Reporting and Analytics Develop and support data models and reports that meet business requirements. Provide insights and recommendations using tools integrated with Guidewire, such as BusinessObjects, Power BI, or other reporting platforms. Project Collaboration Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprints and delivering high-quality deliverables. Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Document technical designs, processes, and solutions for future reference and training purposes. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proficient in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS), including ETL design and implementation. Strong knowledge of Guidewire DataHub, InfoCenter, and core modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). Hands-on experience with SQL and relational database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL). Familiarity with data modeling, data warehouses, and reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, or BusinessObjects Reporting. Expertise in data mapping, transformation rules, and data migration strategies. Experience with Agile development methodologies and collaboration tools like JIRA or Confluence. Knowledge of insurance domain processes and workflows is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend) is a plus. Guidewire certification or training. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or scripting for data automation tasks. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
