Experience in all aspects of Testing procedures including execution, test case writing, data setup (speaks to data analysis below), ability to assess automation candidates and translating requirements to actionable test cases/scenarios. Experience with both manual and automated testing including database and UI based testing. Strong SQL skills including joins (both inner and outer). Level > medium. Strong in Data analysis and analytics. Previous experience working in an Agile environment. Functional working knowledge of the Banking / Financial Services Industry. Experience testing in a Distributed Application Environment (e.g. Interfaces and APIs built in Java / SpringBoot). Experience testing in a Legacy Application Environment (e.g. Mainframe / JCL) and familiarity with batch processing. Nice to Have: Familiarity with Collections / Default within a Consumer Bank; Knowledge or experience with CACS/Strata or other platforms is a plus Previous experience leading teams (e.g. Testing Team Lead, etc.) Strong Communication skills Proactive willingness to engage PO/SMs with capacity concerns, issues and serve as an advocate for the team.
