Position : Commissioning Engineer Location : NY location 5x/week onsite Duration: : 12+ months month Visa : USC/GC Interview mode:: VIDEO Job Description: Must Haves 2-5 Years of Experience within Commissioning Activities within Engineering Working Cross Functionally (Vendor Interaction Experience is a Plus) Heavy Documentation Experience with Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills Self-Starter, Independent and Highly Motivated Chemical Engineering degree Plusses Hands on FAT/SAT experience Experience Working with Highly Regulated Environments (Cleanroom/Gowning background) This individual will be joining the Engineering team within the Engineering and Automation space working on the commissioning and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) phases of a new machine for the company. There will be 3 main phases of this role that the individual will be expected to work through. The first phase occurs prior to the machine coming onsite. During this phase, the individual will be expected to vet and ensure proper sign-off on all documentation as well as sorting through documentation for pre-approval. The second phase occurs once the machine arrives onsite. This will last around 2-3 weeks where the candidate will oversee and ensure all documentation is accurate prior to testing phase. The third and final phase is the SAT testing phase which will be 100% documentation. This individual will be expected to verify that testing is being done accurately. They will work cross functionally with multiple teams, coordinate documentation and the flow of approvals, and will overall be responsible for keeping the commissioning on track.
