Profiles || Need Passport number, I94, Travel History documents during submission for TN1/H1/GC EAD/GC Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to help a retailer optimize their procurement and inventory management processes through the effective use of Symphony software. This individual will act as a functional expert, providing strategic guidance and tactical execution to ensure the system is configured and utilized efficiently. This role is both strategic and tactical, requiring a leader with hands-on experience in procurement operations, system configuration, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in buying, supply chain management, and Symphony optimization to drive better forecasting, margin management, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1 Assess the current implementation of Symphony and identify areas for improvement to optimize workflows and inventory management. 2 Provide functional configuration expertise to ensure the software aligns with business needs. 3 Collaborate with merchants, replenishment teams, and data analysts to refine processes and maximize Symphony's potential. 4 Develop and recommend strategies for forecasting, tactical execution, and inventory optimization. 5 Champion change management initiatives, driving system adoption and process improvements across the organization. 6 Serve as a subject matter expert, asking the right questions and providing insights on best practices in procurement and inventory management. 7 Offer guidance on margin management and pricing strategies. 8 Communicate effectively with the clients leadership team to deliver actionable recommendations. 9 Work closely with the acting CIO and other technical experts as needed to address complex system requirements. Preferred Qualifications: 1 Extensive experience as a Buyer, Procurement Manager, or in a similar role within the retail or grocery industry. 2 Strong familiarity with Symphony software, including configuration, optimization, and functional use. 3 Expertise in pricing strategies, margin management, and inventory control. 4 Experience leading and managing teams of buyers. 5 Familiarity with creating and optimizing procurement workflows and processes. 6 Project management experience is a plus but not required. 7 Proven track record in driving system adoption and leading change management initiatives.
