This role includes technical consulting, service request management, and project implementation for network infrastructure, with a focus on maintaining security, performance, and scalability. Rate: C2C: $60/hour Key Responsibilities: Network & Security Management Manage and oversee routers, switches, firewalls (FortiGate, Cisco, Palo Alto), SDWAN/SDLAN, load balancers (F5), wireless LAN, IPS, proxies, and cloud infrastructure. Optimize network performance, security, scalability, and availability through continuous monitoring and automation using SNMP, sFlow, Netconf, and telemetry. Implement and maintain Leaf-Spine/3-Tier architecture, gateway load balancing, and WAN technologies. Incident Management & Troubleshooting Lead P1 incident calls to restore services swiftly. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for network incidents and implement corrective and preventive measures. Change Management & Implementation Execute key network changes with minimal or no disruption to services. Lead new technology rollouts and network scope expansions, ensuring team readiness and smooth implementation. Collaboration & Communication Collaborate with service owners and cross-functional teams to manage and execute changes. Lead network-related communication with stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment. Security, Compliance, & Continuous Improvement Drive improvements in network security and compliance with organizational standards and SLAs. Simplify and optimize processes through automation and continuous learning initiatives. Enhance network stability, security, and overall customer satisfaction. Required Technical Expertise: SDWAN & SDLAN: Hands-on experience in implementing and managing SDWAN solutions, particularly Fortinet FortiGate SDWAN. Routing & Switching: Proficiency in Cisco Routers and Nexus switches, with expertise in OSPF, BGP, VRF, VLAN, STP, and VPC. Firewalls: Strong expertise in Fortinet FortiGate, Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, and Palo Alto next-generation firewalls. Load Balancers: Extensive experience with F5 LTM, GTM, and APM configurations. IPS/IDS: Advanced threat prevention expertise with Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and Fortinet IPS solutions. Proxy Servers: Experience with Zscaler PITC proxy server management and troubleshooting. Tunneling Protocols: Proficiency in IPSEC and GRE tunneling protocols. Cloud Infrastructure: Expertise in firewall management for Azure/AWS cloud environments. Network Monitoring Tools: Hands-on experience with Splunk, Netscout, and ThousandEyes for network performance monitoring. Wireless Solutions: Proficient in Fortinet and Juniper Mist wireless controllers and access points. Soft Skills: Strong technical acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Exceptional interpersonal skills and capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Desirable Certifications: NSE7 or above certification (NSE4 required). CCIE - Data Center. CCNP - R&S, Security. CCSA/CCSE. PCNSA/PCNSE. F5 201/301.
