Provides guidance to the project team. May also serve in a lead role. Candidate MUST be local to Metro Atlanta The IT Project Manager is responsible for the coordinationand completion of IT projects, and therefore oversees all aspects of theproject using planning, monitoring, and controlling processes. A PM has dutiesto perform at each phase of a project to maintain schedule timeline, withinbudget and deliver a quality project. The IT Project Manager must develop, clarify,and manage the scope of the project and prepare reports for upper managementregarding the status of each project. PM applies project management knowledge,skills, tools, and techniques in supporting project leads and driving thedevelopment and application of project management methodology and culture. Primary Responsibilities Job Responsibilities: Identifies, tracks, monitors, and communicatesproject-related issues, scope changes, variance, and contingencies that mayarise during the implementation of projects. Facilitates amicablesolutions with the appropriate customer Easily shifts from one task to another withoutlosing sight of long-term goals. Understands how the DBHDDs applications andsystems are impacted when implementing changes. Effectively communicates relevant projectinformation to key stakeholders in a timely and appropriate manner. Collaborates effectively with people across the agencyto accomplish project goals. Sets high expectations and enforces standards tomeet project timelines. Remains aware of impending deadlines andcompeting forces that may change priorities and deliverables. Stays up-to-date on leading edge projectmanagement practices. Documents and communicates information in adetailed and precise manner. Understands how external changes can impacttimelines, deliverables, resources, and budget. Knows how decisions will impact thecustomer/user, and develops solutions that have the least risk to the customer. Keeps project team members informed of eventsand issues that will impact their work. Serves as a representative voice of the team;raises concerns to business owners when appropriate. Incorporates business owners and customersexpectations when prioritizing all initiatives related to a project. Organizes timely project meetings and involvesnecessary team members to set and discuss objectives and potential obstacles. Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledgeof different operating systems, network administration and service deskadministration Project management and leadership skills formanaging projects and the teams involved with them Strong written and verbal communication skillsto coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues Analytical and problem-solving skills to handleany issues that occur during project completion Organization and time management skills to keepprojects on track and within budget Excellent resource planning and task schedulingskills Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accreditedcollege or university AND FIVE years of RECENT relevant project managementexperience, with a progression in responsibility. 1. 10 years PM experience managing medium to largescale IT projects 2. Current PMP Certification 3. At least 3 years IT consulting experience. 4. SCRUM Master and/or Product Owner Experience 5. Advanced proficiency in System Development LifeCycle AND Agile methodology 6. Proficient in Microsoft Tools, MicrosoftProject, Visio, SharePoint, Outlook, and Azure DevOps 7. Skilled at conflict resolution 8. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills 9. Ability to communicate to management, business,and technical personnel Required/Desired Skills Skill Required /Desired Amount of Experience Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university Required 0 PM experience managing medium to large scale IT projects Required 10 Years IT consulting experience.
