Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid) Employment Type: Contract Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled SAS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement SAS programs to support data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain SAS programs for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis. Create and enhance dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using SAS tools. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure data solutions align with business needs. Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from various data sources. Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency. Optimize and troubleshoot existing SAS programs for performance improvements. Provide technical expertise and support for SAS-related projects and systems. Document processes, workflows, and system designs to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Proven experience as a SAS Developer or in a similar role. Strong proficiency in SAS programming, including Base SAS, SAS Macros, and SAS SQL. Experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, and reporting. Knowledge of ETL processes and working with large datasets. Familiarity with databases and query languages (e.g., SQL). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Visual Analytics, or SAS Data Integration Studio. Knowledge of statistical methods and predictive modeling. Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) or other data tools.
