The role will involve determining the nature of the business need in order to contribute the most value-adding application of the solution. Key deliverables/objectives 3+ years of experience in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Extensive knowledge and configuration experience in SAP GTS and SAP GTS related setup in S/4HANA Experience addressing GTS upgrade requirements for Trade Compliance, Customs and Preference Management Export/Import Management with regional variances Compliance Management with regional requirements Regional and industry compliance having downstream system integration experience with solutions like SEABURGER Customs Management Trade Preference Management Proven ability to deliver high profile activities to tight timescales Strong organizational skills Demonstrate the scenarios with business users for signoff Creates and maintains end-user documentation providing communication and training as needed to user groups. Eagerness to work in a team-oriented environment Motivated, persistent, eager to optimize, drive for excellence Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal & written) Willingness to travel to customer sites when required (15-20%) Key responsibilities Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible solutions to moderately complex problems Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems Promote process improvements and innovation to drive business process optimization Role: SAP PIPP QM Consultant Location: Vernon Hills IL, Onsite 6months contract Performs initial assessments of feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives Prepares initial design constraints and ensures architecture conforms to requirements. Develops and maintains architecture views and models Performs initial assessment of product suitability for integration into delivery system environments. Assists with assessment of impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle Demonstrated knowledge of systems and processes in large and complex business environment Extensive and deep technical knowledge on SAP modules PP/PI, QM, S/4 Hana with integration with MES systems, other tools such as PI sheets and Xsteps Integration with other modules like MM, SD and FI Interfaces with other third party application like Tibco, Webmethods, GXS, and Autosys ( batch job systems ) Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging and verification of basic data elements and user exits. IDOC knowledge and expertise of both inbound and outbound.
