This role will serve as a critical bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the organizations strategic security goals. Key Responsibilities Project Management Lead end-to-end project lifecycle activities for cybersecurity initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project outcomes. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations. Stakeholder Collaboration Collaborate with technical teams, business units, and vendors to ensure project requirements are understood and met. Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, issues, and risks. Communicate project progress to executive leadership and other stakeholders via regular status reports and presentations. Focus Areas Zero Trust: Drive projects implementing Zero Trust principles, ensuring secure access across users, devices, and applications. SOC Optimization: Manage projects aimed at enhancing SOC capabilities, including process improvements, tool integrations, and incident response upgrades. SIEM Implementation/Enhancement: Oversee the deployment or enhancement of SIEM platforms to improve threat detection and response. Risk Management Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements during project execution. Team Leadership Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and accountability. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to enhance project delivery. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field. 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in cybersecurity or IT-related projects. Certifications (Preferred): Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture, SOC operations, and SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Azure Sentinel). Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and best practices. Skills: Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
