The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing client relationships while leveraging their engineering expertise to deliver tailored solutions in value engineering, engineering tools, software, and industrial engineering services. This role demands a strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive client satisfaction, business growth, and successful project execution. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, acting as the primary point of contact for engineering services. Understand client needs and provide tailored engineering solutions to meet their goals, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business. Manage client expectations, resolve issues proactively, and ensure consistent communication regarding project progress, timelines, and outcomes. Business Development Support: Collaborate with the business development team to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the engineering sector. Support the preparation and presentation of proposals to new and existing clients, aligning engineering services with client needs and industry best practices. Assist in identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services to current clients, contributing to revenue growth. Engineering Solution Delivery: Leverage technical knowledge in value engineering, simulation, industrial engineering, and engineering design tools to ensure that solutions are innovative, cost-effective, and meet client specifications. Provide technical support during project lifecycle, from scoping to execution, ensuring engineering solutions are delivered on time and within budget. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized solutions based on client needs, ensuring accuracy and technical integrity. Account Management & Project Oversight: Oversee the delivery of engineering services, ensuring successful project execution, client satisfaction, and achievement of project goals. Track project milestones, manage budgets, and ensure that deliverables meet the highest quality standards and client expectations. Continuously monitor and optimize account performance, and provide recommendations for enhancing client outcomes and satisfaction. Collaboration and Internal Team Coordination: Work closely with internal engineering teams (including design, simulation, and industrial engineering) to ensure seamless project execution and the effective application of engineering solutions. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at increasing business opportunities and market penetration. Provide client feedback to internal teams to continuously improve service offerings, engineering capabilities, and client engagement strategies. Market Insights and Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and emerging solutions in engineering services, ensuring that the company remains competitive and ahead of market needs. Leverage knowledge of new engineering technologies, methodologies, and tools to offer innovative solutions that meet client challenges and drive value. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in account management or client relationship management, preferably in the engineering or consulting services sector. Proven track record in driving revenue growth, managing client accounts, and delivering engineering solutions in a technical consulting or service environment. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of engineering services, including value engineering, simulation, industrial engineering, and engineering design. Proficiency in engineering tools and software (e.g., CAD, CAM, simulation software, PLM systems, etc.). Strong understanding of engineering processes, including design optimization, process improvements, and cost reduction strategies. Familiarity with financial engineering concepts and the ability to assess project viability, structure proposals, and conduct financial analysis. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering solutions that align with client goals.
