The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Postgres, MySQL, and Cassandra, with expertise spanning design, operational, and system-level administration. The key is someone what works will all 3, Postgres, MySQL, and Cassandra. Details: Duration: 12 months with potential for extension. Location: Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite in Scottsdale, AZ, or Dallas, TX). Relocation is acceptable, but candidates must be onsite starting Day 2. Interview Process: Single-round video interview. Qualifications: Experience: 7+ years as a Database Administrator, including design, operational, and system-level work. Proficiency with Postgres, MySQL, and Cassandra databases. Proven experience in database performance tuning and optimization. Hands-on experience with clustering, replication, and high availability configurations. Expertise in disaster recovery planning and execution. Key Responsibilities: Optimize database performance across application, database, and system layers. Design and implement Disaster Recovery solutions to meet business continuity objectives. Implement and support high availability features, including clustering and replication.
