Business Analyst
Northern Bank is currently searching for an expert Business Analyst (BA). Objectives of this role

Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels

Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications
Proven ability to manage projects and user testing

Banking experience

Role Expectations:
The business initiates processes with minimal information (e.g., "I need this"), so the BA must be a strong interviewer who can ask the right questions to fully understand business needs, not just agree with the request.
The BA will work closely with developers, assist with QA, and support UAT, including developing test cases and explaining processes to the development team for production.
Even without direct nCino experience, the candidate should assist with software upgrades and testing.

Required Experience:
Strong experience in commercial banking/lending or nCino is essential. The terminology and concepts in commercial banking/lending systems are similar.
The candidate should focus on identifying business needs rather than letting the business dictate specific solutions.
Tenure will depend on the individual, not necessarily on years of experience.

Salesforce and nCino Integration:
Salesforce is used for CRM, and nCino runs on Salesforce, making the two systems intertwined.
Understanding Salesforce's organizational structure is critical for setting up opportunities and managing cases for clients.

The CRM aspect is particularly important for the contact center, which tracks client interactions to provide a 360-degree view of the clients history (e.g., outstanding loans, call history).
