Job Description: Technical Project Manager Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid 3 days Onsite) Employment Type: Long Term Contract About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team in Boston, MA. This position is pivotal in leading the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge healthcare and MedTech solutions. The ideal candidate brings a solid technical background, hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Java Backend Services, Microservices architecture, and databases (SQL/NoSQL), combined with a deep understanding of healthcare standards such as HIPAA, FDA, EUMDR, and FHIR. The role requires someone who began their career as a Developer or Architect and transitioned into project management, preferably with direct experience in healthcare or medical technology projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, resources, schedules, and budgets. Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success. 2. Technical Leadership: Collaborate with development teams to design and deploy secure, scalable solutions, including custom APIs, authentication mechanisms, and integration services. Provide guidance on Azure systems, Java Restful services, and Microservices development. Drive adoption of design patterns and best practices for system integration and scalability. 3. Systems Integration and Management: Oversee the integration of various systems, including Azure cloud services, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and Identity Management (IDM) solutions. Manage data synchronization, profile management systems, and extended integrations for healthcare systems. Ensure seamless deployment of injection frameworks and other technical components. 4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of project goals with organizational objectives. Conduct regular meetings to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns. Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 5. Regulatory Compliance and Standards: Ensure all projects adhere to healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA, FDA, EUMDR, and FHIR. Implement processes to ensure secure handling of sensitive data and compliance with regulatory guidelines. 6. Problem-Solving and Innovation: Identify challenges and develop innovative solutions, particularly in the areas of authentication services, custom process builds, and data integrations. Lead initiatives to improve system performance and scalability. Required Skills and Qualifications: Technical Expertise: Strong experience in Java Backend Development with proficiency in building and managing Restful Services. Expertise in Microsoft Azure and cloud-based deployment. In-depth knowledge of Microservices architecture, SQL, and NoSQL databases. Hands-on experience with custom API development, system design patterns, and authentication mechanisms. Domain Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of healthcare standards and regulations (HIPAA, FDA, EUMDR, FHIR). Familiarity with healthcare systems, including profile management and identity management (IDM) services. Leadership and Project Management: Proven track record of leading technical projects in healthcare or MedTech domains. Ability to manage cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors effectively. Skilled in creating detailed project documentation and presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Experience in optimizing systems for performance, scalability, and security. Preferred Experience: Background as a Developer or Architect before transitioning to project management. Familiarity with deploying injection frameworks and building scalable, secure integration solutions. Education and Certifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Certifications in Microsoft Azure or Project Management (PMP, CSM, etc.) are a plus.
