Job Description - Job Details Title - SQL DBA Visa - GC/USC Location: Indianapolis, Indiana This is an opportunity for an experienced SQL DBA to work for an enterprise organization to lead the day-to-day running of the SQL database environment as well as work closely with the development teams. This role will be 50/50 focused on operations vs. database design working with the development teams. For anyone with strong SQL DBA skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams effectively, this is a tremendous opportunity! Required Skills: BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field Must have 4+ years' experience in a SQL Server administration role within an enterprise environment Must have experience working with and supporting SQL Server on Windows Server 2016 and up platform Must have experience using tools and automation to monitor and manage SQL Server environment Experience with performance tuning installs, maintenance, backups, and migrations is required Must have experience with backups and be able to restore database tables Must have experience with database design including the use of stored procedures, triggers, functions Must understand data design best practices Must have experience in working heavily with development teams that are building applications on SQL Server Must have experiences in all MS SQL tools: SSMS, SSIS.
