Job Title: Senior Functional Tester - Selenium Automation Location: Phoenix AZ Employment: Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Functional Tester with expertise in Selenium Automation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and executing test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications. This position requires a proactive mindset, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver. Perform functional testing to validate application workflows, business rules, and user requirements. Analyze requirements and collaborate with development teams to create comprehensive test plans and cases. Ensure traceability between test cases and requirements. Identify, document, and report bugs and errors encountered during testing. Perform regression testing to ensure code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Contribute to the enhancement of the test automation framework for scalability and maintainability. Monitor test automation runs, troubleshoot failures, and provide timely feedback to the development team. Maintain a detailed log of test execution, results, and status updates for stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in functional testing and automation testing. Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with hands-on experience in scripting using programming languages like Java, Python, or C#. Strong knowledge of TestNG or JUnit frameworks. Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or REST-Assured is a plus. Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket. Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps. Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
