Key responsibilities include establishing best practices in cloud architecture, security, cost efficiency and performance optimization to ensure data integrity and compliance throughout the migration. Experience with conducting assessments to evaluate current VMware configurations, identify workload dependencies, and compatibility with AWS requirements Experience with designing secure and scalable AWS architecture for VMware workloads, focusing on encryption, IAM policies, and networking. Proficient with AWS migration tools (e.g., AWS Migration Hub, Server Migration Service, Application Discovery Service) Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform) Experience with configuring VPCs, subnets, security groups, IAM roles, VPNs, Direct Connect, CloudTrail, EC2 and KMS Experience with implementing security best practices to meet compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA) of the target architecture. AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional); AWS Certified Security Specialty (preferred); AWS Certified Networking Specialty (preferred). Proficient in any one of the latest programming languages.
