You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and scaling of applications using OpenShift and related technologies. Key Responsibilities: OpenShift Management: Design, deploy, and manage OpenShift clusters and environments. Implement and manage container orchestration using OpenShift. Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters to ensure high availability and performance. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes. Integrate OpenShift with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) to streamline application delivery. Manage build and release pipelines, including automation and optimization. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Helm. Ensure consistent and repeatable infrastructure provisioning and configuration. Monitoring and Performance: Set up and manage monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to track the health and performance of OpenShift clusters. Analyze system metrics and logs to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and provide infrastructure support. Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and implement security best practices. Provide on-call support and troubleshooting for production environments. Documentation and Best Practices: Document processes, configurations, and procedures related to OpenShift and DevOps practices. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Technical Skills: Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker. Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks. Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems and networking concepts. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
