Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Cisco ACI Engineer to join a dynamic team at a leading foreign bank based in New York City. This is a senior-level position that requires deep technical expertise in Cisco datacenter technologies, networking, and security solutions. The role involves working on a hybrid basis, with an initial contract duration of six months and the potential for full-time employment thereafter. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience and a strong background in investment banking environments. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain Cisco routing, switching, and datacenter technologies including Cisco ACI and Nexus. Configure and manage Cisco ISE for identity and access management. Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls to ensure a secure network environment. Collaborate with teams to implement micro-segmentation solutions to enhance network security. Manage F5 load balancing (LTM/GTM) and DNS-based solutions (e.g., BlueCat, Infoblox). Work with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of networking technologies across the bank. Conduct performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure. Support disaster recovery and business continuity efforts. Collaborate on network automation projects using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Key Skills and Experience: 10+ years of experience in Cisco datacenter technologies, including Cisco ACI, Nexus, and Fortinet firewalls. Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols. Experience in investment banking or financial services environment preferred. Working knowledge of Cisco ISE. Familiarity with micro-segmentation solutions.
