Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware such as servers, routers, bridges, switches, hubs, modems, network interface cards, and so on. Hands on experience and Engineering level experience with Cisco High Speed switches such as Nexus 7000, 5000 and 2000 Switches Experience in design and Engineering Cisco Wireless Lan Controllers, Access Control Server(ACS) and Identity Service Engine(ISE). Excellent knowledge of current protocols and standards, including [EIGRP, RIP, HSRP,]. Extensive design and support experience with network monitoring applications. Knowledge and understanding of system flow charts, data processing concepts, and telecommunications principles. Experience installing network cabling and patching telephony systems. Ability to work with vendor/clients to facilitate the installation of extranets. Working knowledge of security analytics and network access control solutions a plus Telecom experience, specifically Cisco VOIP a plus. Ability to research networking issues and products as required. Ability to present technically advanced ideas in non-technical language. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Ability to perform under stressful situations. Previous experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
