Perform as technical lead on projects of moderate to high complexity that impact multiple departments, systems, or workflows. In addition, function as mentor to those on the team who need assistance in growing their skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform technical design and lead technical design teams for new applications or enhancements to current applications Perform development of new applications or enhancements to current applications Lead technical teams through development efforts, including assigning tasks, monitoring development efforts, and performing code reviews Provide ongoing support and maintenance of existing applications May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Typically reports to Management. Kafka Certification preferred 7 years in a development role Minimum of 5 years using Confluent Cloud Minimum of 5 years using Apache Kafka Minimum of 4 years performing application integration Minimum of 2 years in team leadership roles Experience in Domain Driven Design Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for up to 8 hours a day; Ability to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and use a mouse to navigate; Vision sufficient to view small details on a computer monitor Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day; ability to stoop, bend and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device WORKING CONDITIONS Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required. Travel requirements: Negligible Climate-controlled office environment during normal business hours.
