The ideal candidate will have a keen ability to analyze and improve business processes, bridging the gap between IT and business stakeholders. Experience with the Secondary Mortgage Market is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into functional specifications. Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data to support business decision-making and process improvements. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, systems, and data flows. Work closely with IT teams to design, test, and implement system enhancements and new applications. Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding. Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of system performance, identifying areas for improvement. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure efficient use of business systems. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role. Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills. Experience in the Secondary Mortgage Market is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with mortgage industry processes and terminology. Experience with data visualization tools and techniques. Understanding of project management methodologies and tools. 1. Do not consider testers who have converted their resume to showcase BA or those BAs who have 1 project recent BA experience only. 2. BA / BSA / DA is fine to consider 3. Product Owner is also BA but will be an overkill as they would also be expensive + too much for the ask so avoid Product Owners who are pricey; if they come in rate range as regular BA then fine to consider. 4. Search for people who had worked for Freddie / Fannie earlier not mandatory but such people may get through more easily so higher chances. 5. Look for people with experience in Mortgage domain. 6. Excellent communication skills are a must if while talking to you they do not seem to have excellent comm skills drop them dont even set up interview. 7.
