Location : Remote / Cincinnati, OH (Must be local to the Cincinnati area Duration: : 6+Month Contract. Visa : NoH1b/Cpt Interview mode:: VIDEO Job Description: Comprehensive Network Review: Evaluate and analyze the clients existing network infrastructure, covering all critical components such as Cisco routers, F5 Big IP load balancers, Palo Alto firewalls, and Azure Express Route integration. Network Architecture Diagrams: Create detailed and accurate diagrams showcasing the current network architecture, including all hardware components and their relationships. Design Recommendations: Propose a series of design enhancements to align the network with the client's evolving needs, especially focusing on optimizing their Azure integration for maximum efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness. Gap Analysis & Roadmap: Identify gaps between the current architecture and the future state. Provide clear, actionable steps on how to bridge this gap, including high-level time and cost estimates for the equipment and implementation required. Documentation & Reporting: Deliver detailed, actionable reports and presentations that outline the current networks state, recommended improvements, and the resources required for execution. Requirements for the Network Architecture Consultant: Proven experience in reviewing and optimizing large-scale network architectures, especially involving hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud). Deep expertise with core networking technologies, including Cisco routing hardware, F5 Big IP load balancers, Palo Alto firewalls, Azure Express Route Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, Hyper-V replication, Nutanix hardware, and Azure Site Recovery. Strong experience in designing, planning, and implementing networking strategies in complex enterprise environments. Strengths in translating technical requirements into clear recommendations with cost and time estimates. Proficiency in network mapping and architecture diagramming tools. Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and present technical information in an understandable and actionable manner. Must have referenceable clients where youve completed similar work Must be local to the Cincinnati area, while the position is remote, there could be occasional onsite travel to the Clients site.
