Job Title: Oracle Data Relationship Management (SME) Location: REMOTE Duration: 18+ Months (possible extensions) Job Description Oracle DRM is a data management platform, feeds metadata and mapping Oracle HFM, EPM and Oracle ERP GL. Provides subject matter expertise in the requested application. Assists client in implementing, upgrading or optimizing specific technology. Utilizes professional expertise to perform analysis, project management and/or development activities with technology. Requires demonstrated subject matter expertise in the specified application. +10 years of experience preferred. This position is to replace an existing Oracle DRM SME who is part of Finance IT team. Oracle DRM is a metadata management application used in multiple finance applications such as Oracle GL, FP&A Reporting & HFM Close. This SME is responsible to develop the application using best practices and maintain ongoing support and enhancement requests. The successful candidate will serve as an on-going resource to help run existing apps and work will not be project related. The worker will support all SHUSA entities not limited to SBNA. Must Haves: 10-15 years Significant expertise specifically in Hyperion Data Relationship Management platform, not just Oracle Hyperion Financial Management system. Senior level/Lead of this application and will not be mentored or trained to learn DRM on the job. Plus: Should have extensive experience creating DRG workflows using best practices. Should have strong scripting skills with languages such as Power and Batch. Should be an expert in creating and troubleshooting DRM Exports, Imports, Action Scripts, Blenders. Additional notes from previous vendor call: Hiring Manager seeking a resource to fill a run the bank role with strong DRM skills to support the day to day needs of the application. Need someone who has worked in DRM for a long time. Even though the resource will have extensive DRM experience, there will be a lot of knowledge transfer, which may take about a month to get the worker up to speed with Santanders platform. I The resource must be able to deliver end to end, from DRM and downstream so they must therefore have a lot of scripting experience- it is possible if the candidate does not have specific experience in Power If person has worked on DRM integrations with another scripting language (not power) but could learn, it might be possible for the worker to complete this type of integration. The resource will have experience creating Solution Design Document in DRM outlining in detail how the hierarchy of the data is structured, logic, validation rules, governance workflows, workflow diagrams, includes explanations of the different steps in that workflow and the integrations that are done with other applications. The hiring manager is fine with the resource only having DRM but not PBCS experience. There is a lot of knowledge transfer that is needed- looking to have a candidate stay on up to 18 months. The position is in an area with a strong team environment and culture. In addition to technical skills, the hiring manager is seeking a candidate with good communication and interpersonal skills. Hiring Manager feedback on what he has seen on previous submittals Candidates have insufficient experience in DRM- they have worked in oracle EPM, and may have even worked a lot in DRM but main skill set is in HFM but they don't have the expertise required. Candidates have worked with DRM in a business not a technical capacity, or may not have sufficient development skills to be able to deliver end to end (batch scripting, sql experience) Candidates have DRM and MDM skills on their resume; however, during the interview they cannot explain what they did with these skills or in these areas Technical Skills We are looking for a high technical DRM subject matter expert for multiple initiatives. This SME should have extensive experience integrating DRM with Oracle ERP GL and Oracle EPM products such as PBCS and HFM. This SME should have extensive experience in finance and accounting domains. We are looking for SME whose has worked on implementation projects with Finance and Accounting teams. This SME will be heavily relied on providing best practices and application of best practices to current application design. The SME will also work on enhancements and support for existing DRM application. Should have extensive experience creating DRG workflows using best practices. Should have strong scripting skills with languages such as Power and Batch. Should be an expert in creating and troubleshooting DRM Exports, Imports, Action Scripts, Blenders. Documentation is mandatory for solution design, training and knowledge handover.
